Today I tripped over the 500 GB hard drive cord at work (the one that holds the backups for all the computers and the 12000 or so photos that need to go onto flickr) and sent it flying across the desk to stop finally, inches from the floor, held only by its usb cable. Then I lost my friend’s debit card with her pin number stuck to the front of it and didn’t realize until 6 hours later. At that point it was pretty easy for me to lose all sight of calmness and go into full on guilt filled blame for my own stupidity, carelessness and insensitivity for other people’s things. The Sullivan Family has brought us news that the remains of Hilary Sullivan were found yesterday in Pacific Spirit Park. The Sullivan’s would like to express how much they appreciate all of the love, support, prayers and seva the sangat has offered to them over the past days.
In light of this news, please support the family by directing any thoughts, love and prayers towards the blog that has been set up in memory of Hilary

In memory of Hilary, the sangat will be gathering in the Gurdwara of Raj Yog Nivas tonight, for chanting and meditating from 7-8pm. Everyone is welcome.

Today it has been seven days since the disappearance of Hilary.
This morning the Sullivans came to Gurdwara and were welcomed with food and prayers. We have such a gift to share as a sangat, and no family is more deserving.
1. The best way to serve at this point, in that time is of the essence, is to poster. Contact Yoga West 604.732.9642 (the address can be found in the link), sign your name on a section of the lower mainland, and start putting them up.
2. As always your prayers and meditations for Hilary are very important and powerful.
Thankfully, everything else is being covered right now. The Sullivans appreciate how much love and seva is being sent to them and Hilary. I feel very honored to be part of a community who has so much love to share.

I’ve noticed a lot of search hits today for Hilary, so I thought I would post an update.
Hilary is still missing. Yesterday after the Vigil at Yoga West a community search party combed some of the endowment lands, and today 400 posters were printed and given to Yoga West for people to take. People can sign up for specific areas if they wish.
The Sullivans are very grateful for your prayers, love and seva.
Thank you for being such a strong community and keeping Hillary in your minds. Prayer and meditation are much more powerful than any of us can know.

I just received and email from a friend that the mother of one of my dear friends has been missing since mothers day, Sunday, May 11, 2008. Her name is Hilary Sullivan, she is a wife and a devoted mother to four children.
